Help Tamara in Her Battle Against Cancer

Tamara Wellington is facing her third fight against cancer, and she needs your support now more than ever. After successfully undergoing surgery to remove her thyroid last year, further testing revealed that cancer has returned—this time with a new nodule on her thyroid bed and metastasis to her lymph nodes.

Her medical team has moved quickly to refer her to OHSU for surgery to remove the cancer and affected lymph node. Following the surgery, she will undergo iodine radiation treatment approximately six weeks later to ensure that every trace of cancer is eradicated.

In addition to the physical and emotional toll this battle is going to bring, Tamara is also dealing with the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of her son, Tyler Miller. The grief has been overwhelming, and she has already exhausted all her FMLA resources.

Through all of this, Tamara has remained a fighter, but the financial burden of treatment and recovery is significant. She is unable to work during this time, and she needs help to keep things afloat while she focuses on healing.
