Help Tamara Ford & family through medical crisis
Don protégé
On June 11 we received a phone call from our niece, Tamara Ford (Beth Boyles & Jeff Skinner’s daughter) informing us that she had not been feeling well for awhile and had gone to the doctor the day before for some help. He drew labs on her and called five hours later to tell her she was to go to the hospital immediately. After admission she was given four blood transfusions and a platelet transfusion within 24 hours. Her blood and platelet count was so low her doctor informed her she would have passed away in her sleep with in two days had she not gotten to the hospital. Her blood and platelet count did come up but only slightly. She was sent to an oncologist and hematologist for more answers. None so far and she hasn’t improved. They are mystified. Thursday she will meet up with the team again and if not improved will be doing a bone marrow biopsy on Friday. Her diagnosis is Aplastic anemia, a rare and serious blood disease, but haven’t been able to pinpoint a reason why. Tamara‘s family relies on her income and she has been out of work for three weeks. Her husband Ben and her support three children and phones are running very low for them. Asking for support from any who would be able to give to keep their household running, as Tamara will not be returning to work for the time being. Also asking for healing prayers and praying for her specialist to come up with answers and treatment plan. Thank you for any support and please share this for us!
