David Witt passed away on 11/4 unexpectedly. After 10 days in the critical care ward, we are left with some hefty medical bills that I was not prepared for. With David and I both having previous health expenses this year, my FSA account has already been depleted for other medical bills. David was forced to retire 18 months ago due to his physical health deterioration after 30 years of hard labor, and I am solely responsible for all costs.

We are not holding a funeral, as it was David's wish not to be buried. Instead, we will hold a celebration of life in January (date to announced soon). Many of you have asked if you can do anything to help. I ask that if you are so inclined, in lieu of Funeral donations or flowers, helping with the remaining medical bills I will be charged with for my remaining out of pocket balance for the hospital stay as well as a handful of unpaid medical bills would be amazing.

Anything you can contribute would be so deeply appreciated. And if you can't during these financially trying times, I completely understand. Thank you all for your love and support during this difficult transition.
