My name is Tamara. I'm a college freshman and a competitive wrestler, and I'm trying to do something that doesn't have a roadmap.
I broke city records in high school. I built a following by just being myself — sharing my grind, my faith, my real life. And now I'm in college trying to figure out how to keep all of that going while also just... surviving as a first-year student.
Wrestling isn't just a sport to me. It's how I pray. It's how I process. It's the one place where everything makes sense. And I refuse to let money be the reason I have to slow down.
Here's what I'm raising money for — honestly:
Getting to tournaments that actually matter for my future
Gear and equipment (it wears out faster than people think)
Training camps where I can compete with the best and get better
The random costs that come with being a college athlete nobody warns you about
I'm not someone who asks for help easily. But I'm learning that letting people in isn't weakness — it's wisdom.
If something about my story resonates with you, even a little — I'd be grateful for your support. And if you can't give, sharing this means just as much.
Thank you for seeing me.
— Tamara
