Help Tamara Bliss Recover from Assault
Donation protected
On January 31st Tamara, a beloved massage therapist and dancer in the Bay Area for over 20 years, was assaulted by two women and mugged. Although the valuables they were able to steal from her were negligible, the resulting physical and mental injuries have had an effect on her overall health and well being.
She sustained whiplash, shoulder injuries and severe bruising.
The lingering effects of neck, shoulder and knee pain have kept her from doing what she loves- dancing and helping others to heal by offering massage.
As such she has withdrawn from the numerous dance classes, and took time off of work initially and still has reduced hours. Her bodywork practice has been cut in half for Februrary and March 2024.
The financial strain coupled with withdrawal from most social activities that she used to engage in due to anxiety and or pain have resulted in depression.
We are raising funds to offer her the capacity to afford physical therapy, mental health care and to restore lost income. Let's help our dear Tamara get her back on track and sharing her gifts at full swing.
Give what you can. Thank you.
