Our daughter, Talyn, has a real passion for wheelchair basketball. She's put in a lot of time practicing, working on her skills, and always trying to improve as an athlete. Her efforts have paid off – she's been selected to represent NSW at the Junior National Wheelchair Basketball Tournament in Queensland in April! This is a great honour and we're so proud of her.
This amazing opportunity comes with a significant cost, however. While this tournament is a major expense in itself, it's just a portion of what's required to support Talyn's wheelchair basketball journey. Between regular training, local tournaments, travel, and now Nationals, the costs add up quickly. For Nationals alone, we need to cover approximately $2,900 for her participation fees, travel, accommodation. On top of that, we also need to fund our own travel and accommodation to be there to support her. We're reaching out to our community for help in making Talyn's dream a reality. Any contribution, big or small, will make a real difference and help Talyn shine on the national stage. Please help us send Talyn to Queensland!
