Help Tallulah go to a Leadership Conference :)
Donation protected
Hi all!
Tallulah was one of a handful of kids at her new school (Potter Junior High out here in Fallbrook) to be nominated for The Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C. this summer. She was nominated by her English Language Arts teacher who recognized her as a "student who has achieved academic excellence and possesses strong leadership potential."
As fearful as I was about moving a kiddo at her age, Lou has been thriving! She applied for ASB (Associated Student Body) last summer and made it and has been of service and involved with planning schoolwide events ever since, as well as making the afternoon announcements daily. She tried out for volleyball and made the team and they won the championships for the first time EVER! What fun that was!
She has straight A's, she is kind, she is thoughtful, she baked cookies for every teacher, admin, crossing guard, lunch lady and custodian there at Christmas time. (Maybe that's why she got nominated?? j/k) I am very aware that I am biased as her momma, but I think this beautiful human being is going places, and I'm trying to help her make this one of the many stepping stones in what will no doubt be a wonderful journey. Please consider helping out if you can, any little bit helps!
We love you all!
