Help Talitha Fulfill a Dream at the CMAA

Hello, everyone! My name is Talitha Jae (but most people just call me T), and I'm a passionate singer-songwriter from Far North Queensland. I have some incredibly exciting news to share with you all - I've been accepted into the prestigious Country Music Academy of Australia!

The Opportunity:

The Country Music Academy offers a two-week immersive experience filled with workshops, networking, tuition, and performance opportunities, and invaluable insights into the world of country music. It's a golden opportunity for me to grow as an artist, connect with industry professionals, and take a significant step forward in my music career.

Why I Need Your Support:

While I'm over the moon about this acceptance, the reality is that pursuing this dream comes with financial challenges. The course fees plus the costs of flights and accommodation in Tamworth, where the Country Music Festival takes place, quickly add up.

The Breakdown:

Tuition fees: $2,500

Flights (approx): $1000 - $1400

Transport on the ground (approx): $500

Accommodation(approx): $1500

Extra daily expsnses (approx): $500

Obviously, the sooner I book these things in, the better chance I have at securing lower prices. Also The Academy are working very hard to find us billet accommodation for the time of the course, so this cost might reduce as well.

I will be scrimping and saving on my end, and trying to hustle as many gigs as I can fit alongside my fulltime job (which I may yet need to ask for leave without pay from - meaning I'll need to find a way to cover rent etc as well). So know that I'm working hard on my end too and not asking for a free ride. Anyone who knows me, knows that I work hard in my day job, and in music, to fund all of my musical adventures. And most of the time I can (just) get by - but this time I really need your help.
