On May 26, our family—my husband JR, our children Brookston and Mikiah, and I—lost our home and everything we owned in a devastating fire. In a matter of hours, we watched as our belongings, keepsakes, and the place we called home were destroyed. We are grateful to be safe, but we are now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over from nothing.

Right now, we urgently need help with temporary housing and basic essentials. We lost all of our clothes, household items, and the things that made our house a home. Brookston and Mikiah, who are both passionate about basketball, lost all of their gear and equipment. As parents, it’s heartbreaking to see our children lose not just their possessions, but also the things that bring them joy and comfort.

We are reaching out to our community for support as we work to rebuild our lives. Any help will go directly toward securing a safe place to stay, replacing clothing and home essentials, and helping our kids get back to doing what they love.
