Hi, I’m Tali, a 22-year-old Level 10 competitive gymnast from Queensland.

I’ve recently been selected to represent Australia in the upcoming Level 10 international gymnastics tour held in America, something I’ve dreamed of my entire life.

My gymnastics journey began in Mossman in Far North Queensland, where I trained with Mossman District Gymnastics until I was 9. I then moved to Cairns, where I continued my gymnastics journey with Barron Valley Gymnastics for 7 years. After graduating from school at 17, I made the move to Brisbane on my own away from all of my family to continue pursuing my dream of representing Australia.

For the past five years, I’ve been incredibly grateful to train at Premier Gymnastics under the guidance of my amazing coach Kirsten. This year, I was also incredibly proud to become the 2026 Australian national Level 10 Beam Champion, a milestone that means so much to me and reflects the years of hard work and dedication I’ve put into this sport.

Alongside 20+ hours of training each week, I currently work three jobs to support myself and continue pursuing gymnastics. The upcoming international tour is estimated to cost around $12,000, which is fully an out-of-pocket expense due to the limited funding available in gymnastics. This will help pay for uniforms, travel/tour expenses, food and competitions fees.

This opportunity would mean the world to me. Representing Australia is something I’ve worked towards my entire life, and I’m hoping to make this dream a reality.

My family have always been my biggest supporters and have helped me every step of the way. I’m hoping to raise enough to make this opportunity possiable and to represent my country doing the sport I love.
