Talace Pope is not only my coworker, but also a dear friend. She’s someone who always brings positivity and strength to those around her. Right now, Talace and her two daughters are facing an unimaginable challenge: their home in Maple Valley is currently underwater after the Cedar River flooded its banks. Thankfully, Talace, her daughters, and their two dogs are safe and staying with friends, but nearly all of their possessions have been destroyed. The uncertainty of when they’ll be able to return home, or what they’ll find when they do, is weighing heavily on them.

Talace is the kind of person who never asks for help, always putting others first and handling life’s challenges with an incredible attitude. That’s why I’m reaching out on her behalf. The funds raised here will go directly toward helping Talace and her family replace essentials like furniture, food, and clothes—things they need to start rebuilding their lives after this disaster.
