My name is Takenna Bell while walking my yorkie name Fendi approximately 7:30 am one of the neighbors was walking there pitbull as my dog approached the dog to sniff and the pitbull immediately bite my dog causing his jaw to lock the owner was attacked by his own dog trying to get my dog a loose. immediately took our yorkie fendi to the vet which she had to get shaved and stitches on her right side she also had bites on her back as well they prescribed two medications and sent her home later that day she became very still couldn’t walk or eat anything I called the vet back to see if it was the medication or was this even normal upon arriving back there 10 pm that night she died on the way there they told me they would have to charge me ‘more money to try and resuscitate her after a while they came back and said she didn’t make it so I had the resuscitate fees plus burial and other fees. I contacted animal control to see about getting the viscous dog put down because this could of been a Child viciously attacked I also contacted a lawyer the lawyer told me to let the man know I was seeking legal action to see if this can be resolved but the multiple animals at the unit was barking hysterically so I declined knocking I recently had surgery and also all the fees I had to pay the vet I am low on funds. My grandmother who also has dementia is highly affected by the loss of fendi which fendi helped her greatly with motor skills and controlling her emotions. My history with fendi runs deep as well after giving birth and my baby passing away time he was conceived fendi has played a major role in comforting me in that difficult time.
