VCU Men’s Club Soccer is a student-led organization that aims to create a competitive and inclusive environment for students to continue playing the beautiful game in college. From first-year Richmond natives to international graduate students, the club is comprised of a diverse group of players who share a passion for soccer and a common goal of reaching the national tournament. The team has had its sights set on competing in nationals for several years and achieved qualification for the first time last Fall but could not attend due to financial constraints. Recently, the team received a bid for this year’s national tournament in Round Rock, Texas, on November 17th-20th. However, with the rising costs of airfare and hotels, we will fall short of our covered expenses. We aim to raise $3000 to cover the $1550 entry fee and assist with flights, hotels, and other traveling costs. Realizing the opportunity to compete at nationals would mean the world to us after our continued hard work throughout the past few seasons. All donations will be greatly appreciated, thank you!
