As a mom, there’s no greater joy than watching your children find their path and work hard to build a better future.

My daughter, Taina is caring, dedicated, and hardworking. She’s been working full-time as a phlebotomist, helping patients every day with compassion and professionalism. But she has dreams that reach even further. She wants to continue her education and grow in her field.

Unfortunately, like many young adults, the cost of furthering her education has become a barrier. Between paying bills and working long hours, it’s been difficult for her to save enough to return to school. I see her hesitation, not because she lacks determination, but because she’s trying to carry so much on her own.
