Help Tai Taito & Family Move Forward

Dear Silver Bay Family,

 

We are writing to you today to let you know about the significant losses that have occurred in the life of Tai Taito over a very short period of time.

 

Earlyne Garcia was a wonderful auntie who touched the lives of all those around her. Naoia Toli Sataraka was an amazing sister who dedicated her life to her family. And Marilyn Kauaokanoe was a remarkable auntie who acted as a support line to her family and friends. Both aunties have been strong matriarchs for Tai, and their passing leaves significant holes in his family support. His sister leaves behind a precious and beautiful 2-month old baby girl named Toli.

 

We hold Tai in the highest regard as both a teammate who can always be counted on, and as one of the nicest people we gratefully call our friend. We are absolutely devastated by the life challenges he and his family are experiencing, especially as they struggle to gather the funds to cover the costs of services, moving expenses, and simply moving on.

 

The family has already started to pay for many of these costs and SBS wants to help. We've started a fundraiser to collect donations for Tai's family's costs here on this GoFundMe site. SBS will match any SBS Employee donation dollar for dollar, up to a total of $1,250. Please consider donating if you are able to do so knowing that your donation can be increased via the match - so if you donate $10, it will be increased to$20 with the match. Please list your name as the donor so we can match as much as possible. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.

 

Even though this fundraiser has been created for our small group of SBS Employees, please feel free to pass to your personal family, friends, and social media, outside of the SBS network.
