Hello everyone!

I'm in the process of creating a new theatrical work titled "Negative Aura" a meandering 50 minute long pas de deux that I'm choreographing, scoring and writing/directing with a group of 4 collaborators and it will be premiering on August 6-7 2021.

Creating the show has been a rigorous process that has required so much time, love and care from everyone involved. As most of you have probably assumed, having known me and the content of my work, I am doing this with very little institutional backing. It is hard to find money for radical work, particularly in the US, and this is where you come in!

In order to maintain the integrity of the project and make sure that everyone involved can be paid a living wage for their (honestly priceless) contributions, I need to reach out to my generous friends and community for additional funding. It is common practice to ask artists to work countless hours for free and this is antithetical to everything I believe in. 70% of the funds raised here will go directly into the pockets of the artists who I am working with.

The remaining 30% of the funds will go to props used in the show and also continuing this project beyond the two performances scheduled and expanding the show to be twice as long.

Anyone who donates will be sent a link to a professionally shot video of the show and will be mailed printed materials from the show.
