Help Tahrir's Family Survive and Rebuild
Donation protected
My name is Grazia, and I am the CEO of Launchlift FXB TEAM. Tahrir is a dear friend from Gaza who has endured unimaginable hardships and continues to face daily challenges. Together, we decided to create a fundraiser to support her and her family during these difficult times. Please consider donating if you can, and if not, sharing this fundraiser with your network can make a powerful difference sometimes just a few shares can help save a life.
My name is Taḥrir, a 34-year-old mother of five, born and raised in Gaza. Before the devastating war, we lived a quiet, modest life—rooted in dignity, family values, and hope for a better tomorrow. But now, that peaceful life has been reduced to rubble and silence. My world has been turned upside down, and the innocent lives of my children hang in the balance.
During the relentless bombardment of Gaza, our home was completely destroyed. In a matter of seconds, we lost everything our shelter, our sense of safety, and every ounce of normalcy. My husband is trapped in a besieged area. I haven’t heard from him in weeks. I am now left completely alone, raising our five children in a tattered tent, exposed to the blistering heat by day and the freezing cold by night. We have no protection, no stability, and no certainty of what tomorrow will bring.
We are among the thousands of displaced families in Gaza, struggling daily to survive amid the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding before the world’s eyes. I have no source of income, no aid, no support system only my children’s hunger, tears, and questions I can’t answer.
We go to bed hungry. Most nights, there is no food at all. We survive on salt water and canned goods, which have caused me painful skin infections and scabies. My feet are swollen and inflamed. Walking is agony, but medical care is completely out of reach. My daughter suffers from burns on her feet that require expensive ointments I cannot afford. Two of my children have serious vision problems and urgently need prescription glasses, but these basic needs have become impossible luxuries in Gaza.
Even clean water is a privilege we no longer have. We are surrounded by disease, trauma, and despair. Illness spreads quickly in the overcrowded, unsanitary conditions we live in. Every day feels like a fight to stay alive.
We don’t ask for much. We don’t seek luxury only the basic human rights: food, clean water, medicine, and the opportunity to live in dignity. I am pleading for your help to give my children even a small chance of a future. We need urgent financial assistance to:
Access life-saving medical treatment
Provide nutritious food and clean drinking water
Rebuild a safer shelter even a proper tent
Afford prescription glasses and burn ointments
Make plans to leave Gaza and reach a place where my children can be safe, go to school, and simply be children again
This is more than a story. This is a cry for humanity.
If you can donate, please know you are not just giving money you are giving hope, healing, and a lifeline to a mother and her five innocent children. If you cannot donate, please share this story. Your voice matters. Your solidarity gives us strength.
In a world that too often forgets Gaza, we ask: Do not forget us. We are not just numbers. We are mothers, fathers, sons, daughters real people, suffering a real tragedy.
Stand with Gaza. Stand with humanity. Every donation, every share, and every prayer counts.
