Help Tahlia Fight Aggressive Breast Cancer and Be There for Her Little Boy

On March 5th, 2025 — just one week after her 32nd birthday — Tahlia received news that no one is ever prepared for. She was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and Inflammatory Breast Cancer — a rare, aggressive, and fast-spreading form of cancer.

Tahlia is not just fighting for her own life — she’s fighting for her 4-year-old son, Ezra. He is her entire world. Her sunshine. Her reason. Ezra is sweet, sensitive, full of life and love — and he deserves to grow up with his mum by his side: healthy, strong, and present.

This diagnosis shattered the plans Tahlia had for 2025. She had just begun studying to earn her Certificate IV in Youth Work and Mental Health — driven by a deep desire to help young people and give back to the community. But now, her energy has to go toward surviving this brutal disease.

And as if fighting cancer wasn’t enough — the financial burden is overwhelming. We often believe our healthcare system will protect us from these costs, but sadly that isn’t the case. Even before starting treatment, Tahlia is already $5,000 out of pocket — and the bills are only going to grow from here.

On April 15th, Tahlia begins a harsh and intensive chemotherapy regimen. It will be exhausting, painful, and emotionally draining. She will need every ounce of strength, every bit of support, just to get through it. She shouldn’t have to worry about how to afford medication, appointments, transport, or childcare while she fights for her life.
