Help Tahjae&Taia get to Karate World Championships
Donation protected
Hello,
Thank you for reading our story...
Our names are Tahjae and Taia, we are 13 year old twins and have been doing karate since the age of 4.
In them 9 years we have achieved our black belts and have had great success at competitions. We have competed all over the UK and internationally and have over 100 medals each. We have both been English, British and International Champions in both Kata and Kumite.
We love karate, it is our life. To have these successes we have to train a lot of hours and make lots of sacrifices, which are all worth it. We do a minimum of 12 hours of karate training a week, plus we go to our local gym and train cardio, speed, agility, reaction and plyometrics.
We have just had the most amazing news, that we have been selected to represent Karate England at the World Championships which will be held in July in Fort Lauderdale Florida. This is a dream come true for us, not only that we have been selected to represent our country, that we will be able to share this experience together and also follow in our mum's footsteps, who also represented England on many occasions and won the European Championships.
Unfortunately, karate is not a sport that receives funding and therefore everything must be generated by us. To make this dream a reality we are asking for your help. We are seeking any kind of support possible, however big or small to help us get to the World Championships.
If anyone would be so generous to give a donation to help us reach our target of £2000, which will pay towards our flight to Florida and accommodation, would mean the world to us.
A BIG BIG thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any donations made, we really appreciate it.
Tahjae & Taia
