Hi, my name is Taharka Louis. When I was diagnosed with leukemia l was 12 years old and a Straight A Honor Roll student member of the 5,000 Role Models Club in the 6th grade at Coral Springs Middle School. I love my family, playing video games and creating cartoon characters. I was named after the brave King Tirhakah, who God sent to rescue his people from invaders, because I was born with a very big heart. (2 Kings 19:9 KJV)
On January 30th, 2024 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at Broward General and am currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital as I continue to the 7th grade while attending school virtually at Coral Springs Middle.
