✈️ Help Me Study Abroad in France This Summer!

Hi! My name is Tafita, and I’m a student at Bowling Green High School in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This summer, I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to study French language and culture abroad in France through the CIEE Global Navigator program—and I’m thrilled to share that I was awarded a nearly full scholarship to attend!

As someone who loves learning about different cultures, helping others, and dreaming big, this trip means the world to me. I attend Eastwood Baptist Church and regularly volunteer at Refugee Bowling Green, where I support newcomers adjusting to life in our community. I’m also passionate about playing soccer, and I believe that connecting with people—through language, teamwork, or service—is one of the most powerful things we can do.

The one thing standing between me and this life-changing experience is the cost of the plane ticket, which is about $2,000. While my program fees are covered, I’m responsible for paying for my travel to and from France. I’m working hard and doing everything I can to raise the funds, and I’ve created this GoFundMe to ask for your support.
