Hi everyone my name is Octavius. I am a 22 year old transman and I have made this gofundme to help me with my gender reassignment surgery ( Top Surgery)
My story: Just recently I’ve decided to come out from fear and introduce my new self to the world . I am 6 months on Testosterone now and feeling more joyful than ever. As a child I was bounced from home to home, hospitals & family members… til I was placed into foster care. I really gave up on life… and did not expect to even make it this far. I grew up with my father who married a verbally abusive woman who destroyed my self esteem. I am now grown and living on my own but I have no resources, no help w/ anything dealing with gender affirming care.
Why I need your help: Currently I'm living in an apartment with my fiancé , and our incomes primarily go towards life (rent, utilities, groceries), I am financially independent and have been since I was 16 years old. I am struggling trying to balance life and living . I am trying to raise money for a life changing Gender affirming surgery called Top Surgery. The surgery will help me present more masculine and be left with a flat chest. The full cost of the surgery is $10,000. Getting top surgery is extremely important to me, as it is crucial to my mental and physical health. Currently I am prioritizing my health, happiness & peace. The sooner I can get surgery, the sooner I can start living life as the real authentic version of myself. How you can help: Any contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference.
