Taco, my 17-year-old long haired Chihuahua mix, has been my trusted companion through thick and thin. He’s always been by my side, offering comfort and love without complaint, especially as I’ve faced my own health challenges. Living on SSI and dealing with CHF, COPD, Diabetes, and being on oxygen 25/7, I simply cannot afford the vet care Taco needs. Now, he’s showing signs of kidney failure, and just the thought of him suffering gives me panic attacks. I want nothing more than for my boy to be comfortable and not in pain during his old age.

The funds raised will go directly toward any treatment Taco needs, including medication, vet visits, or, if necessary, to ensure he is comfortable and not suffering. Vet insurance turned me down because of a low credit score, and the guilt I feel not being able to afford his care is overwhelming. For those of you who are pet owners, surely you can understand how we cannot stand to see them suffer.
