Greetings!
- My name is Tajsah Armstrong (aka Taco), and I am a certified Zumba Instructor from Fayetteville, NC. I received my certification on May 29, 2022, in Greensboro, NC, under the instruction of World-Renowned Zumba Instructor "Loretta Bates." I enjoy karaoke, rollerskating, trying new restaurants and hanging out with my friends and family. My 20-year dance journey began when my great-grandmother asked my sisters and I to serve as "praise dancers" for our home church. Although it was presented as an option, the decision was already made HEHEHEHE (you cannot tell Grandma no, at least not mine hehe).
- Since then, I have had the pleasure of dancing under the direction of the best of the best, including; EE Smith Magnificent Marching Machine (2012-2013), "Scarlet Lace" of the Red Sea Of Sound(2013-2014), and for Recording Artist Ianna Rene (2022). I was introduced to Zumba in 2013 while working out at a local gym and have been jamming at dance parties ever since. I cannot tell my Zumba story without mentioning my very own Zumba instructor "Devin Nickels" who inspired me to make that transition from student to instructor.
- I enjoy Zumba because it not only focuses on the physical benefits of dancing but also acknowledges the emotional, mental and social benefits as well. I created this page hoping to raise $1,700 to attend this year's Zumba Convention in Orlando, Florida, August 11-14. This amount includes the trip's 3 most important fees;

This convention will not only serve as an INCREDIBLE EDUCATIONAL experience but an AWESOME NETWORKING one as well. By attending this convention, I also gain the opportunity to add 1/2 specialties to my list of Zumba certifications (Zumba toning, Zumbini For Kids, Zumba Gold etc.)
Although I do not have much time to fundraise, I am determined to make it happen! (I firmly believe in the statement "where there is a will, there is a way)!
