Hi, my name is Marta, and I'm raising funds for my beloved chihuahua, Taco. Before Taco, I had another wonderful chihuahua mix named Andy, who was with me for 14 years. Because I've struggled with PTSD and depression since I was young, dogs have been incredibly helpful, especially with my anxiety and nightmares. Taco even wakes me up. I was without a dog for a while due to illness, but my daughter asked if I wanted a chihuahua, a boy named Taco. He had been abandoned by his family, but thankfully, someone heard him. Taco didn't have an easy life before I took him in, and I knew the moment I saw him that he was mine. He finally had a loving home. My daughter jokes that he's spoiled; he's very protective of me. Unfortunately, I recently learned that Taco has congestive heart failure; he has an appointment on May 26th. While I was able to cover the cost of his cardiac assessment, the necessary dental procedure is too expensive for me. The total cost is $600.00. I was able to get a grant for 200.00
The balance left is 400.00 dollars. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide towards Taco's dental treatment. I am receiving care for him at
The Tufts at Tech community veterinary clinic in Worcester, MA. Thank you, Taco and Marta
