My name is Marta Sanchez, and I have a Chihuahua named Taco. After losing my dog Andy, who was with me for 14 years, I was deeply affected and struggled with PTSD and depression. My daughter Erica, who lives downstairs, adopted a dog named Lucy, and through her, I was introduced to Taco. At first, I wasn't ready to take in another dog, but Erica brought Taco home, and caring for him helped me heal. Over time, I developed a strong bond with Taco, and Erica offered him to me.
Unfortunately, I had to retire early due to health issues, which has made finances tight. Taco needs a cardiac assessment and dental work because he has a heart murmur. I managed to pay for his cardiac ultrasound, but the dental procedure is more than I can afford. The treatment is at Tufts At Tech Community Veterinary Clinic in Worcester, MA. I was able to secure a grant, but I am still short of what is needed for his dental care.
Any support for Taco’s dental treatment would mean the world to me. Your kindness will help him stay healthy and comfortable, and I am so grateful for your consideration.
