Tacauma is a former Law Enforcement officer who has worked in various agencies to include Richland County, W. Cola, SC Criminal Justice Academy, etc. Prior to his diagnosis, he was working for the Department of Mental Health as a training sergeant.
While working in Richland County he was the SRO at Ridge View High while there Tacauma helped numerous amount of troubled kids stay on the right path. While working at RVHS as an SRO he became one of the Assistant Basketball Coach where he served for 12 years.
Tac was diagnosed with ALS in March 2020 since then his symptoms have rapidly progressed. Tac was admitted into Prisma Health Hospital on December 29th where he was rendered un-responsive for some hours! During this time he was unable to talk for 23 days!
Tacauma finally came home on Wed, Feb. 10th. We created this fundraiser to help cover the cost of medical Bills and equipment.
