Medical Expenses for Tabby

Hi my name is Manuela and I am fundraising to help my family with the hospital bills of our cat Tabby.

Yesterday our family had a rough day, and I want to bring awareness of what happened to us. Cats love warm places and sometimes they can be too sneaky.

We were not aware yesterday that our cat Tabby yesterday decided to take a nap in the dryer and we turned it on to do some touch up in the clothes I had there. This was truly a human mistake, and it was heartbroken when we found her there. I rushed her fast into the bath and helped her soak into the water, but she tried to escape. I still do not know how in my mind I knew what to do, when I was so in shocked with the whole situation. I took a towel and soaked in water so I could put it on top of her and refresh her, I knew she must be so hot and all what she needed was cold. Her breathing was decreasing, so we rushed her to the closest VET ER.

They helped us stabilize her with oxygen and admitted her into a "cold" room. She had to stay the night to be monitored. Today we received the news that she is improving, however her liver is not in the best condition and she is having glucose problems, therefore she had to be admitted to another hospital in where she will stay more days.

We are praying for a soon recovery, and meanwhile we are trying to find a way to keep up with all the bills from the hospital.

This is a reminder to Please take care of your pets, they are part of the family, and it is so sad to see them get hurt. Tabby has been part of our family for many years now , her twin brother died couple years ago and it was really hard for us.
