Help Tabitha With The Costs of Caring for Her Son
Donation protected
Hello, I am asking everyone to help out a friend of mine named Tabitha and her sweet son Bryan because she's one of those people who deserves it for all she does for her son, what little she does for herself, and because the position she's in is one parents would never want to face
Bryan is 12 years old and has had severe medical conditions his whole life. One of the battles he faces is severe seizures.
On December 6th Bryan was at school and became pale, his blood oxygen level was at 79. Bryan was admitted to UMass Worcester where he started having seizures and vomiting. According to the EEG he was having frequent seizures, and new types of seizures he hasn't had before. Things began to get worse for Bryan. He became extremely lethargic, his skin was a yellow color and the decision was made to immediately transfer him to Boston Children's Hospital.
Boston Children's Hospital is by far the best place for Bryan to be for medical care. It is also over 80 miles away from his and Tabitha's home where she also has responsibilities to tend to. Anyone who has traveled from Western Massachusetts to Boston knows that the traffic can be, and usually is, awful making it a 2-3 hour drive each way. Along with that the gas prices are atrocious averaging $3.40 per gallon in her older vehicle it is a very expensive trip back and forth for a single parent who is the sole financial provider for her son . I honestly cannot imagine how she is doing all of this by herself, so I want to change that, or at least take away some of the financial stress for her.
Tabitha has shaped her life around Bryan's care, as most parents would. We were neighbors before I moved to Texas and even though her life was full of responsibilities she'd help me out when I needed it because she's a wonderful person with a huge heart.
I'd like to raise money to help Tabitha with her immediate need to cover the cost of traveling, food, supplies, and vehicle maintenance during this stressful time.
Let's fill her tank literally and emotionally.
I know the holiday season is financially hard for a lot of people, but if you can even just donate $3.40 to put a gallon of gas in her tank it helps keep her going. If you can't donate please share this to your own social media pages to let your friends help. Keep Bryan and Tabitha in your thoughts through this battle they are facing and thank you for taking time to read about these two amazing people.
