Help Tabbie Overcome Medical and Financial Struggles

Hello! My name is Tabatha, but everyone calls me Tabbie. I have Crohn's disease and found out last year that the medication I was taking was not working at all. Due to the medication not working, multiple strictures with dilation formed in my small intestine. It was causing a lot of problems, making me miserable. I needed surgery, or I would get an obstruction (I was already getting partials) or a perforated bowel. Surgery was scheduled for April 23rd. The surgeon was only supposed to take out 6 inches of my intestines, but when she went in, it was all diseased from my Crohn's. The surgeon ended up taking out 25 inches instead of 6. I was in the hospital recovering for 3 nights, 4 days. It was a long road to recovery. I was off work for 10 weeks. I started getting side effects from the aftermath of surgery. I'm still unfortunately dealing with the aftermath but learning how to cope. Due to still not feeling 100%, I was not able to pick up extra time at work (I'm part-time).

Fast forward to August 2024, I started to vomit intermittently after eating. I never knew when it was going to occur. I brushed it off, thinking it was just stomach acid, but unfortunately, it continued to occur. I had to leave work due to vomiting. I eventually went to the ER to get testing done. The vomiting continued. I then saw my Gastrointestinal Doctor. As soon as I explained my symptoms (getting full fast, nausea, vomiting), she instantly suspected Gastroparesis.

Gastroparesis is where the stomach does not empty food properly, and it sits in the stomach, causing the person to vomit. I am getting a 4-hour test done soon to confirm the diagnosis.

Due to being nauseous and vomiting the past 2 weeks, I have not been able to work. I have exhausted my personal time, so unfortunately, I will not be getting paid. Since I am not getting much of a paycheck, I do not know how I am going to pay my rent, which is $675. I also received a notification that my electric is going to get shut off if I do not pay $99 by October 3rd. If ANYONE could help out just even a little, I would greatly appreciate it!
