My dear family and friends,

As most of you may already know, (due of infections) I have had 2 surgeries within the past couple of months. I am scheduled for 2 more hip surgeries before the end of this year. Due to these surgeries, I will be out of work for 4-5 months. It will cause a huge financial, as well a mental strain. I was informed by my doctor that I will NEVER be able to run again. :(
This news is a dream crusher because it is taking away my passion, umpiring baseball. I’m going to really miss the game, and more importantly, miss the camaraderie I had with my brothers in Blue/Black.

I’m asking for your help to reduce my stress and to put my mind at ease. This will make it possible for me to create other dreams to pursue. I know I will persevere through this because I have always had such great love and support from family and friends. 

To focus on the future and move on in a new direction, I have decided to take another great love to the next level and become a full-time Special Education teacher. I took on the role as a part-time substitute teacher a year ago and simply adore the children I have worked with, especially our wonderful children with special needs. 

So, many thanks for your support in the past, the present, and further into the future with my new dreams and endeavors.

I have never ask for financial support before and pride had me thinking long and hard before asking now. As always, I’ll take the mental support and prayers (Always!!) but could truly use your help in a financial way. :(

Based on loss of wages, due to mandatory best rest, and medical bills, I believe that this will put me in the hole around $60,000.  Any amount of support would be greatly appreciated.
