Help T Bird afford to rescue birds this summer

His name is T Bird and is known around town as The Bird Man. He has been doing bird rescues for over 25 years. Back when he started, he mainly helped blue jays, mocking birds and sparrows. But now a days he does all kinds of birds like herons, crows, hawks and even buzzards. Most are brought to him by people in New Orleans who see inured birds in the street or park. T also takes in parrots and fosters them while finding long term homes for them. He has never asked anyone for help with needed cages and food. When he was asked about financial aid or donations in the past he always refused. Now T is 69 years old and lives on Social Security which is not enough to pay his bills and food per month let alone taking in injured birds. He has been a carpenter his whole life and still works for friends and neighbors for small amounts of pay if any. A few years ago he had open heart surgery, so between doctors bills and medications he could use some help with caring for the birds and is now open to accepting help. Please doante what you can. He would really apprciate the help...and so would the birds.
