Myself along with 2 other generous women are helping a Syrian Refugee family here in San Diego. Two years ago, I garnered many generous donations, which was so tremendously helpful and has carried them this far a full 2 years later. Unfortunately, my family has some terrible hardships and I am asking for your help once again.

The family is now being evicted from the tiny 2 bedroom apartment because there are too many of them there. They have 5 kids and 2 adult, and the limit for 2 bedrooms is 6 people. We are forced to look at 3 bedrooms even though they can't afford one. We are seeking your help so we can come up with the down payment on the new apartment and any ongoing assistance to subsidize them monthly.   

If you would be willing to donate anything at all, they would be so grateful and so would I!  

I have been helping this family because they literally have nothing and because it's the right thing to do.  I feel compelled to help this family thrive in our wonderful and tolerant city in San Diego.  

I learned about this family from Heart4Refugees.org in December of 2017, when I started working with them. It's a charity that is helping to assist in the resettlement of Syrian Refugees in San Diego and other regions. 

The money we raise will be used to help them pay for their rent so they can move.

As a disclaimer since the Mahmoud family does not have a bank account or social security number I will have to collect the money with my own personal account then give them the money in person.
