Dear friends and family of Syreeta and the Smith Family,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the devastating news that Syreeta Smith, a devoted single mother of four beautiful children, Richard, Anaiya, Kayla, and Maria, has passed away.

A year and a half ago, Syreeta received the gift of life through a lung transplant. It gave her precious time with her children and the chance to create beautiful memories, including a recent cruise she took with them to celebrate her 50th birthday. Tragically, after returning home, Syreeta became severely ill when her body began to reject her lungs. Despite a fierce and courageous fight, she passed away surrounded by love.

Syreeta was a pillar of strength, grace, and selfless love. As a single mother, she worked tirelessly to provide a life full of opportunity and care for her children. Her passing leaves a tremendous void in the lives of everyone who knew her, especially her children, who are now facing a future without their mother.
