My sweet girl Sylvie, my Chinese Shar Pei and truly my baby, urgently needs entropion surgery to save her eyesight and relieve her pain.

Shar Peis are unfortunately prone to serious eye issues, and over the past week Sylvie’s condition has worsened to the point where she’s having trouble seeing. Watching her bumping into things and struggling has been truly heartbreaking.

This surgery isn’t cosmetic, it’s medically necessary for her to have some relief from the constant discomfort and to prevent permanent blindness.

I would never ask for help unless it was truly urgent, but after multiple vet visits, medications, and ongoing treatment, the medical bills have quickly piled up. This surgery is the final, and most expensive, step needed to help her.

The veterinarian performing Sylvie’s procedure is highly experienced with Shar Peis, which gives me hope that this will finally bring her relief and her eyesight back.

I will be sharing screenshots of her medical bills and updates throughout this journey for full transparency. I’m waiting on an estimate/quote on the surgery, but from research this is what is needed
