Hello everyone,

My name is Sylvia Rich. I am raising this campaign to help pay for my husband’s pending funeral expenses. The year 2024 had been a huge struggle for us and in just 6 months, our whole world has changed. I lost my house, husband and my job.

On December 18, 2023, my husband’s birthday, our house burned down. My husband, my hero, tried to extinguish the fire and inhaled lots of smoke. This led to his heart failure. During this difficult time of pain and suffering, he was determined to get my son and I established in a new home in case anything happened to him. Because of the fire, we had to make additional purchases to get established. He died on June 26, 2024 from his complications. My son and I are trying to rebuild our lives in our home without him, lots of pain and suffering. A part of me has been lost.

If this wasn’t enough, I lost my job 2 months after his passing. Being unemployed, I am struggling to pay my bills and the funeral expenses. I am barely making ends meet. After months of trying to pay on my own, I realized and came to the conclusion, I can’t pay my bills. I have no choice but to start this campaign.

We were married for 40 wonderful years and lost my best friend and soulmate. Randall was loving, caring, funny, courteous, generous, polite, there are not enough words to describe him. He would help anyone in need, even strangers. He would literally give you his shirt off his back. His wish was to donate his organs to help people once he died. I received notification from the donating facility that his eyes were used and helped 2 people regain eyesight! God bless! This act of kindness is what life is all about. If you knew Randall, you were fortunate to have known him. We are blessed to have had him in our lives indefinetly.
