Our cherished Sylvia Trinh Abraitis was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma / Er+ Pr+ Her 2+). She has started chemotherapy.

This Fund was started to give Sylvia some support and comfort during this challenging journey. All funding will go towards her medical bills, care, and expenses. Sylvia is a fighter, and we are hopeful about the outcome and her beating this cancer.

As a hairstylist and a photographer for over 17 years, Sylvia has touched the hearts of all those she has met by creating beauty, sparking joy and capturing memorable moments for friends and clients who have become like family.

Sylvia's Treatment Plan is an estimated 18 months or longer, involving six rounds of chemotherapy (one round every three weeks), with additional infusions for six months. Surgery will follow, with a double mastectomy and removal of the cancerous lymph nodes in her underarms. Daily rounds of radiation will continue for two months. The healing recovery process will take at least six months before undergoing another surgery. These procedures will put Sylvia out of work for several months.

Sylvia is one of the most independent and hard-working people you have ever met. So asking for help can be difficult, especially during these crazy times. The medical bills have begun to pile up, and the unforeseen expenses for the upcoming year are overwhelmingly stressful to Sylvia. Now more than ever, Sylvia could use your help.
