Help Sylvia and her daughter. ❤️

Hi everyone. ❤️ My name is Danny Duran and today I am asking for your help and support during a difficult family time. Please read, share, and donate if at all possible.

Many of you may not know much about my family or my background. I come from a very small family. My mom and aunt raised me and my cousin as siblings and we’ve always been a tight family. I have lived in Dallas for 13 years and the goal was always to move my family here. After a lot of planning, we were finally able set the goal to make that happen in 2023.

Throughout the last few months, my aunt Sylvia began feeling ill, with abdominal pains and difficulty walking. As a family, we moved the moving date to get her to Dallas for medical care and they made the move on January 16th. She has been hospitalized ever since.

Sylvia was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer, which has also spread to her liver and lungs. Due to this, there is fluid buildup in her abdomen and chest cavity, making it difficult to breathe or hold down any food. In addition, blood clots have developed in her legs and lungs. The doctors have made the prognosis that this is an incurable situation. They are unable to consider chemotherapy at this time, as without being able to regulate all the subsequent symptoms, or eat, she would likely not be able to withstand it.

As a family, we are facing the inevitable. We don't know if it will be two days, two weeks, or two months. Aside from medical expenses, my aunt and mom moved here on a fixed income, as they are both retired and on social security. I am currently assisting my family financially with rent, food, and any other expenses I can cover. Aunt Sylvia's daughter had to resign from her job in order to be a caretaker and be at the hospital day and night.

This is very difficult and vulnerable to share, as we tend to be a quiet, private family.

I never could have imagined that having my family all together in the same city again would begin in such a way. If you have the capacity, and if you find it in your heart to want to help, any donation or sharing this post would be most appreciated. It would help a family with getting through a flood of medical expenses, inevitable funeral expenses, and helping my elderly mother and cousin get back on their feet as they find their new life in Dallas.

Thank you again and God bless you. ❤️
