never thought I would have to write something like this.

Our baby Sylvester was hit by a car, and the person responsible drove away and left him to die. Somehow, with a broken spine, shattered pelvis, and broken back legs, he still dragged himself home to us. I cannot put into words the heartbreak of seeing him suffer like that.

The vets are doing everything they can, but his injuries are devastating. Along with the broken bones, he has serious damage affecting his bladder and urinary system, and every hour feels uncertain. He’s been through scans, sedation, procedures, and constant monitoring just to keep him stable.

Sylvester isn’t “just a cat.” He’s our family, our comfort, our little shadow, and the sweetest soul you could ever meet. Seeing him confused, scared, and in pain has completely shattered us.

We are trying so hard to give him every chance possible, but the emergency vet bills are becoming more than we can manage alone. I hate having to ask for help, but right now we would do absolutely anything for him.
