Help Sydney & Stephanie Through Life-Saving Kidney Surgery and Recovery
Our beautiful friend, Sydney Mathis, is facing one of the biggest battles of her life. At just 28 years old, she’s preparing for her 13th surgery this year — a total nephrectomy (removal of both kidneys), due to polycystic kidney disease and complications from lupus, which she was diagnosed with shortly after giving birth to her daughter, Scarlett, now 5.
Sydney is currently on dialysis and will be fully dependent on it until she receives a transplant. The good news? A match has been found — and it’s one of her closest friends, Stephanie Daniels, who is courageously donating her kidney later this year. These two incredible women are walking through this together, but they both will need time to heal — and time away from work — to recover from their surgeries.
Sydney is the type of person who never complains. She’s endured endless hospital visits, surgeries, and pain with grace and strength, always putting others before herself. She is a devoted mom, a loyal friend, and one of the most selfless people we know.
We are asking for your help to support both Sydney and Stephanie during this difficult time — to help cover lost income, medical bills, travel to and from dialysis and transplant appointments, and basic living expenses while they recover.
Your donation, no matter the size, will provide real relief and hope. Let’s rally around these two brave women and make sure they can focus on healing — not on financial stress.
Thank you for standing with Sydney, Stephanie, and little Scarlett.
