This fundraiser is to help with medical copays, lost wages, and financial strain stemming from a bad car accident for my 18 year old daughter, Sydney St. Amant.

On November 6, she was a passenger in a vintage early 1960’s VW Beetle with no airbags or seatbelts. The Beetle was traveling at about 45 mph when a Toyota Highlander ran a stop sign, failed to yield to cross traffic, and entered the roadway colliding with the Beetle. Sydney was projected into the dashboard and windshield of the Beetle. She suffered multiple jaw fractures, broken teeth, lacerations requiring stitches, a broken bone in her hand, knee injuries and the usual traumatic soft tissue injuries from motor vehicle crashes.

The other party has been cited at fault and thank god they were insured, but their policy limits were the bare minimum and will not cover the initial medical costs, lost wages, on going treatment Sydney will require.

The ER visit and her first surgery alone have exhausted auto insurance funds. We are asking for any assistance anyone can provide in helping us to cover things and reduce the financial strain stemming from this terrible accident so we can focus on getting Sydney back on her feet, back to work and hopefully able to start college and begin the

journey to her career in law enforcement.
