Help Sydney Rebuild Her Photography Career

I never thought I’d be writing something like this and I honestly hate to be doing it right now, but here I am — asking for your help.

Recently, while on a shoot, all of my camera equipment was destroyed. A strong wave swept me off my feet and threw me into a wall of rocks behind me, scraping up my legs and submerging all my camera gear in the process. Not only is this equipment incredibly expensive to replace, but I cannot do my job without it. Photography is my career, my creative outlet, and my way of expressing myself. Losing my camera, two main lenses, and other accessories has left me heartbroken and unable to continue shooting. At the moment, I am not in a financial position to be able to replace all my equipment, so I have no idea how I'll keep going.

I’m raising funds to replace the essential gear I lost so I can get back to work as soon as possible. I’ve listed the items I need to repurchase below, which reflect the bare minimum I need to take on jobs again:

Canon 6D Mark II

Sigma 50 mm lens

Sigma 35 mm lens

Godox flash

The total cost comes out to approximately $6000
