For years, I’ve lived with endometriosis and the pain, uncertainty, and heartbreak it brings. My journey has been especially difficult because my condition was dismissed for so long. A previous doctor ignored my symptoms and implanted an IUD incorrectly, causing severe damage to my uterus. This led to a nonviable pregnancy, a life-saving abortion that wasn’t covered by insurance, and a ruptured uterus that went unnoticed by medical staff. I was left working and living with internal bleeding until I was rushed into emergency surgery at Bronson to repair the damage.

Since then, I have bled every single day and endured constant pain. Simple things like using the bathroom, intimacy, and even daily activities have become incredibly difficult. Despite my efforts to get answers and care, I’ve faced more loss, including three miscarriages, and have had to wait months for proper testing. My recent MRI showed that my endometriosis has grown through the rupture and into other organs. Now, I’m facing major surgery, and the weight of medical debt, therapy costs, and basic living expenses is overwhelming.

I’m reaching out because I need help with housing amidst a domestic violence situation. I need help renting a place, for one cat, food, and urgent medical care. I’m also struggling to afford therapy and legal support. I’m terrified of what’s ahead, but I know that with your support, I can get through this.
