Sydney is my daughter, and she is wheelchair-bound with limited ability to transfer on her own. Lately, it has become nearly impossible for me to lift her into my car, and she can't get in by herself anymore. Just the other day, a kind stranger helped me get her into the car, but I know I can't always count on someone being there. For both our safety, we truly need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
Right now, I drive a small car with barely enough space for Sydney's wheelchair—it takes up the entire backseat and trunk. Every outing is a challenge, and I worry about our safety each time we need to go somewhere. Having a wheelchair-accessible vehicle would make a world of difference. It would allow me to get Sydney in and out of the vehicle safely and independently, without having to rely on the kindness of strangers.
With the right vehicle, Sydney and I could go out together more often. She loves seeing our family and friends, and a handicapped-accessible vehicle would make it so much easier for us to visit our loved ones and be part of our community. Any support you can give would mean the world to us. Thank you for helping us stay safe and connected with those we care about.
