Help Sydney Canett's Family in Their Time of Need

We are all truly saddened by the sudden and unexpected loss of our beloved Sydney Canett. Sydney was beautiful, kind, caring, a gifted athlete with a heart of gold. You could always find her tending to all the little ones in her life and most recently, helping her family foster newborn kittens. It was beautiful to see her so tender and gentle as she helped them grow and prepare for adoption. Sydney was such a bright light to all around her. She was very active and involved in her school, church, girl scouts and the many sports she participated in. She attended Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and School for 9 years and was currently a student at Crean Lutheran High School. Among soccer and flag football, she shared her love for running with her grandmother, Nana Lukes, participating in many marathons throughout her life. She will be missed deeply by her family, friends, classmates, teammates and all who knew and loved her. We are all devastated and heartbroken.

Since so many of our mutual friends have reached out to me personally, asking how they can help during this difficult and very stressful time, I decided to create this GoFundMe. My hope is that these funds will help ease some of the financial burden as Sarah is a single mother needing to take care of Sydney's three younger siblings as well as herself. The money will go towards any funeral expenses as well as allow Sarah to take some time off from her work. Having not to worry about work right now, will give her the much needed time to be with her children as they grieve this unimaginable loss together.

Sarah and her family are incredible thankful for all the love, support and prayers that have been sent her way. She is so grateful for all the kindness, compassion and generosity extended to her family.
