When Swift Batch Bakery was born, I wasn’t trying to build a business. I was on medical leave and going through one of the hardest seasons of my life. I had started baking to control the chaos in my brain. On a whim, I reached out to my best friend and said, “Do you think my cookies are good enough to sell?” Six hours later, we launched our first Cookie Box drop and sold out.
I could not have predicted what happened next. People showed up. Orders came in. Orders were placed before I opened new drops. Then came pop-up markets. We now have four markets booked through mid-July!
Here’s our problem (the good kind):
We’re growing faster than our current setup can handle.
Right now, we’re trying to keep our prices affordable for ALL families while also keeping up with demand. Doing that without going into debt is getting tough.
When you’re trying to go legit, the government steps in and wants money. We have health permit fees, business license fees, and tax registration fees in addition to our setup that could use a boost.
So we’re asking for a little help to take the next step.
What we’re raising money for:
• Upgrading baking equipment to increase production
• Fee’s for health permits and licensing
•Expanding storage and prep areas so we can prep efficiently for markets and catering orders
•Building out our Cookies & Milk Bar - a rentable dessert experience exclusively for small parties and events (something we’re really excited to offer!)
Our goal is simple:
We want to offer a premium product and rental experience exclusively for groups under 35 that is beautiful, tastes like it came from a bougie bakery, and is affordable for everyone. Small batches. No mass production ever.
Keep our products high-quality, real ingredients, personal, and affordable, while growing this into something sustainable.
This bakery helped me get through a really difficult time in my life and is so special to me. It’s taught me so much, and I’m so proud to take the next steps.
From the bottom of our little emo hearts, we truly appreciate your support.
If you’re able to donate, share, or support in any way, it truly means everything.
