Help Sweet Zelda's Emergency surgery

Please we need your help ASAP! 
Hi my name is Micky Janczak. I am fundraising for my amazing employee Andrea and her sweet pup Zelda who just turned 8 years old a month ago.

 

Andrea is a huge animal advocate and works with me at my dog daycare. We do a lot of rescue work and work with taking care of senior dogs as well. Andrea always gives back to our community of animals and makes sure the dogs have what they need and are cared for. The time she puts in for these precious animals that have no voice for themselves is priceless. Now Andrea and Zelda need your help.

 

Zelda was diagnosed 5 weeks ago with bladder stones. The Dr. put her on medicine and special food to try to break them up. She was doing better for a couple of weeks. however, last night (Saturday February 11th,) Zelda took a sharp turn for the worse and could not urinate at all. She was squatting and trying but only blood was coming out. Andrea called me in a panic as all the vets offices were already closed. I advised her to take Zelda to the ER immediately as I feared that her bladder was loaded with stones and was possibly blocked. When she got her to the ER they were very busy and had to wait. Once they did the x-ray it confirmed Zelda had an impressive number of stones and a severe blockage. She was in danger of her bladder exploding and becoming septic. Her bladder was overfilled with urine, and she was in tremendous pain as she had not urinated since 8am that morning. They had to perform emergency surgery ASAP. They completed the surgery and took x-rays only to find more stones in her bladder. They had to open her back up and remove the remaining stones. This surgery and hospital stay so far is on the upwards of $5,000. I am asking you to help Andrea pay for Zelda's medical bill. Zelda is not released as of yet and most likely will not be released today. We will be speaking to the Dr. that performed her surgery later today and we will get an update. So far Zelda is urinating on her own and has eaten breakfast which is the best-case scenario at this time.
