Help Sweet Rescue Cat Beat Cancer!

Hi Everyone - I made this Go Fund Me for my friend Eleanor and her cat Stacey. Eleanor and I have been friends for over 20 years and always shared a love of animals. While I know Eleanor loves all animals, it's clear to anyone that meets the two of them that her and Stacey have a special connection.

From my own experience with Stacey, I would describe her as a cat that--in spirit--is also part puppy and part lamb. She runs to the door with excitement to greet guests, loves everyone she meets and spends her time cuddling with Eleanor and Eleanor's friends and family. She is truly the epitome of innocence and sweetness.

Sadly, Stacey has developed a rare form of breast cancer and needs urgent radiology and chemotherapy to fight her cancer. Unfortunately, Stacey was initially misdiagnosed and the vets spent nearly two months treating her for the wrong condition--possibly further aggravating her cancer. As such, Eleanor's vet bills have already been astronomical before Stacey's even been able to begin the correct treatment plan. The current estimate for both the chemo and the radiation is $8,000. As much as Eleanor loves Stacey, she felt too uncomfortable asking for donations, which is why I am hoping to help her raise $7,000 toward Stacey's medical expenses. I know that Eleanor has already spent way more than she can afford, so I am hoping we can help her save her sweet Stacey who means the world to her. <3
