Hi friends and community neighbors,

This is Keanu — a tough, brave, and endlessly sweet neighborhood cat who’s been through more than any animal should. Before I moved in, Keanu was hit by a car and left to recover on his own. Against all odds, he survived, though he now has a little wonky eye that gives him so much character — and reminds us how strong he really is.

Recently, poor Keanu got into another serious fight that left him with multiple puncture wounds that aren’t healing well. He’s been so resilient, but it’s clear he needs proper vet care, wound treatment, and a good cleaning to help him get back on his paws. He also needs vaccines and flea medication and ongoing care to stay healthy and comfortable in his outdoor home (which I’ve set up to keep him warm, safe, and fed).

We don’t yet know exactly how much his vet visit and treatments will cost, but care like this can easily reach the high hundreds or even thousands. Every bit helps — whether it’s a few dollars or sharing his story. All funds will go directly toward his vet bills, medications, and supplies to keep him cozy and cared for.

Keanu’s been through so much, but he’s a true warrior with the sweetest spirit. With a little help, he can finally get the medical attention and peace he’s needed for so long. Thank you so much for helping us give him the life he deserves. ♥️
