Hi friends, and family... and restaurant family.

Our sweet Felix is experiencing a major medical disaster.

At the end of October, he went to the hospital for a routine colonoscopy + endoscopy. He had pains prior to the appointment, but there was no detection of infection. He went home after a presumably successful procedure but quickly returned to Sutter ER a few days later with a burst appendix, extreme septic shock, and near kidney failure. Recovery will be slow before he can safely return to work.

He needs our help.

If you know Felix, you know his grace, his endless generosity, and his warmth. The way his voice softens when he's offering comforting words. Along with his hysterically dramatic cackle, his sassy raised eyebrow, and contagious enthusiasm for life. He's a human who always brightens the room.

We are all lucky to know him.
